While visiting the romantic old walled city of Rhodes, Greece we came upon these gorgeous hand made bedspreads.
It is a king-size cloth of burnt orange velvet stitched together with peices of vintage wedding gowns and costumes.
The wedding dresses and costumes are from festivals and families all over the Greek Islands.
Then, by hand, a local Rhodes family creates these unique bedspreads from the gown material.
Some of the pieces are from gowns and costumes over 200 years old.
The bedspread measures 102" x 103".
Two matching pillow cases 16" x 16" are included.
